Fuel Network Disaster Resiliency

From cars and planes to heat and electricity, the oil and natural gas supply chain fuel our lifestyles and economies. Working with the federal government, RS21 developed a secure application to visualize dependencies within the infrastructure network.

A data-driven assessment identifies risks to critical infrastructure before, during, and after a disruption event, such as a natural disaster or cyberattack.

Microservices-based Infrastructure, Supply Chain, and Disruption Simulation Suite

RS21 created user and functional requirements, visualization designs, and development of the interactive front-end and back-end to support the requirements and associated functionality, including automated data acquisition and integration with external disruption models.

Modernizing Legacy Models into Intuitive, Insightful, Responsive Tools

The application transitions existing disruption models—which required manual data entry and complex user interaction—into an intuitive, user-friendly tool for analysts to run simulations and communicate results with minimal effort.

Improving Access to High-Value Insights

Intuitive visualization and responsive cloud-based technologies bring value and efficiencies to potential users, regardless of their technical background, analytical skills, or domain knowledge.
